1. Scope of Services

Spitfire Heating & Air provides HVAC diagnostics, repair, and maintenance services only.

We do not perform full system installations.

Any work requested outside the original estimate must be approved and may result in additional charges.

 

2. Payment Terms

 

Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to:

  • Charge late fees on unpaid balances

  • Send unpaid invoices to collections

  • Recover reasonable legal or collection costs

 

3. Diagnostic Fee

 

All service calls include a non-refundable diagnostic fee, covering travel, time, and system evaluation.

 
4.  No  Guarantee of Repair Outcome

Due to the nature of HVAC systems—especially older or worn equipment—Spitfire Heating & Air does not guarantee that all issues can be fully resolved.

Additional failures may occur after repairs due to age, wear, or unseen conditions.

 

5. Parts & Labor

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to parts when available

  • Labor warranty (if offered) will be stated on the invoice

  • No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts

 

6. Limitation of Liability

Spitfire Heating & Air is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing conditions or failures

  • Additional system breakdowns

  • Damage caused by age, corrosion, or deterioration

  • Power surges, weather, or external events

  • Loss of heating/cooling, property damage, or business interruption

 

       Liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the service performed.

7. Additional Work & Authorization

Any additional repairs or services outside the original scope require customer approval before work is performed.

 

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and accessible working conditions

  • Secure pets and remove hazards

  • Disclose known issues or concerns

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.

 
9.  Customer Supplied  Parts

Use of customer-provided parts is at the customer’s risk.

Spitfire Heating & Air:

  • Does not warranty these parts

  • Does not guarantee performance or compatibility

 

10. Scheduling & Cancellations

Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a service fee.

11.  Legal  &  Dispute Terms

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

Any disputes shall be handled within the appropriate local jurisdiction.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

 

By scheduling service, approving an estimate, or submitting payment, the customer agrees to all terms outlined in this Service Agreement.

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to all terms listed above.
